Oh darlin'. I so understand not getting along with the fam. I had to move all the way to Texas from northern CA to get away from my family. Mom called for the first time in months today, in fact, so I got to learn that my little brother's back in jail, and then listened to mom drone on for 45 minutes about the power of prayer. Hallelujah.
I hope you had a fantastic Turkey Day! Was there much stuffing and mashed potatoes to be had? I'm more into the side dishes than the bird, m'self. I want to apologize, by the by, for not being terribly active the last week or two. It's the busy season at work, and I ended up not getting to submit my task by that ridiculous Wednesday morning deadline... I feel like I deserve a time-out in the annex. But I'll be better about making time from now on. This place keeps my addled brain anchored during the crazy retail madness that occurs this time of year.
