Hello ToddPacker and welcome to Asheville. As head of the welcoming committee, I wanted to make sure you were making yourself at home and finding your way around the office. Although, from my first greeting to you in the forum, you'd never know I was the one who did the "welcoming" around here. I do offer my sincere apology. I see that you have already visited the forum. Let me calm your fears, Asheville is not in danger of closing. DMI is moving from 1.0 to 2.0 and "corporate" is currently reviewing all manager and branches to see who will stay and who will go. Right now we have 199 branches. They are cutting down to 100. Asheville is in a very good position. We are one of the most active branches in the company and we have great support from other branches. We sit comfortably in the #28 spot, so if they are keeping the top 100 branches, we are more than fine. EVERYONE in the company is in panic mode because we aren't sure how they are going to cut branches, but I don't think we have too much to worry about. I hope you decide to stay with us. In any event, these branch closings will not happen until 2.0 launches in either September or October.
Todd Packer...what an honor! Welcome to Asheville. I'm your RM, gosabres. You've joined at a very busy time here. We are in the middle of RM reviews. I know you are new and haven't had a chance to fake work with me yet, but if you could take a few seconds to fill out the survey it would help me and our branch out greatly. Thanks. Head on over to our forum and join right in. There is a lot going on over there but don't let it overwhelm you. We are all very friendly and will help you get up to speed in no time.
